Knitting Patterns

I know it has been a while since I have posted to you but you know how life can get too busy. I have not been knitting or reading any knitting patterns. I have a good reason. My new business is doing well and I am planning my retirement soon where I will knit all day. Not too soon as I am really enjoying my new venture.

Working from home has been great, oh the freedom! It sure beats driving in traffic to work and I want to share this website called Your Executive Income Plan. The folks in this group have found a real business to run from home that works. Anyone can do it. I only started part time but I have started receiving a real residual income already.

I try to make time for my knitting as you can imagine. I want to tell you about a fabulous website for Knitting Patterns with lots of info. Knitting Pattern Instructions Click on their link that says "Sewing, Knitting and Crochet Supplies" It leads to a great online store with hundreds of knitting patterns, and yarns. Great prices too.

I must say I am impressed and I have been working on filling my shopping cart! It is a good job I work from home so I can schedule my new knitting projects into my day. Happy Knitting.

Knitting Patterns

Well, I hope everyone is enjoying their knitting. As spring comes I love to see new knitting sites and new knitting patterns sites. Hopefully you all went to the great knitting pattern instructions site. I hope you all got a lot of good information from that site.

Knitting is my passion but I love all crafts and lately I have also become very involved in Scrapbooking. I have been scrapbooking for others and quite honestly I am really enjoying it. It is so creative and I can make enough to pay for all my supplies and more. There is a great book that explains everything needed to start scrapbooking for profit. You can find it at Scrapbook For Profit.

It has a link to a great scrapbook supplier as well. Hope you enjoy the new information. Keep knitting of course, and remember to keep looking for those great knitting patterns.

I have wanted to try more adventurous knitting and this is chock full of great ideas with great photos too. I feel very inspired to adapt some of my existing knitting patterns to look like the great photos they have in their book. If you want to get inspired they have a sample of the book you can look at. Here's the last installment in our knitting patterns series about choosing yarn.

“Substituting Yarns”

It may happen that your desired yarn may be unavailable
in the market or it may be too expensive according to your
knitting pattern.

In such cases, you can substitute a yarn that will work
the same for you. For example, you can use smooth cotton
yarn in place of fluffy mohair.

Before replacing the yarn-type, be sure to consider the
yarn demand of the knitting pattern. The weight of the
yarn is another important factor that you should take
into consideration.

I hope you are enjoying these small tips of advice. For more knitting advice both simple and more advanced you can take a look at this amazing offer for the Knitting Essentials information-packed book by clicking here.

If you're like me, you sit and knit in front of the TV. In my family it has turned into a major event every night because we now have a new home theater system. I may have to move out of the room when I knit as I was so engrossed in the movies last night that I actually dropped several stitches, just like a beginner!

Well I hope you have enjoyed the tips we have been giving and look forward to you checking back for more.

Well the great tips for your knitting patterns just keep coming! Here's a great one for saving money which we all want to do, right?

"Sometimes, you may find that your woolen clothes are out
of fashion or maybe you have a particular piece that you
have never really liked that much. If it is an expensive
yarn, you can easily reuse the yarn using a seven-step
process outlined in-depth in “Knitting Essentials”

Remember, to make the reclaimed yarn useful for knitting
you will need to wash it and let it hang dry."

Knitting Patterns

It's time for another great tip for using knitting patterns. While it may take a long time to complete a knitting project, remember that it is always made up of small steps. Here is another great piece of advice sent to me by the knitting expert Sarah Adkins

“Always Consider the Pattern”

The desired pattern should always be clear in your mind
before choosing any wool yarn.

If the intended pattern is complicated then never go with
mohair or angora because your pattern may become lost
under their long and hairy fiber.

When using a complicated pattern, a flat, regularly spun
wool yarn is the better choice.

This may seem like an obvious thing to consider but we all benefit from being reminded of these basic facts. For more knitting advice both simple and more advanced you can take a look at her helpful and information-packed book by clicking here.

In all the discussions about choosing the right yarn we must remember that sometimes it is the simple points that we forget. Following is a snippet of information sent to me by the knitting expert Sarah Adkins

"Always Consider Climate"

Climate is another important factor to consider when
selecting yarn for a knitting project.

If you are designing something for a person living in a
warm area then that person probably cannot even wear a
chunky weight yarn product.

On the other hand, if the person is living in a colder
area then a heavier yarn will be the right choice.

This might seem simple but she is full of great advice both simple and more advanced.
