In all the discussions about choosing the right yarn we must remember that sometimes it is the simple points that we forget. Following is a snippet of information sent to me by the knitting expert Sarah Adkins

"Always Consider Climate"

Climate is another important factor to consider when
selecting yarn for a knitting project.

If you are designing something for a person living in a
warm area then that person probably cannot even wear a
chunky weight yarn product.

On the other hand, if the person is living in a colder
area then a heavier yarn will be the right choice.
